Motherhood Moments Preview

Celebrating the tiny moments, not milestones, of early motherhood.

I always dreamed of becoming a mom, yet never imagined daily life with a baby to be so creatively inspiring. From scattered toys on his playmat, to his gigoteuse (sleep sack in French) draped over his crib and our shared breakfasts at home and at our favorite local boulangerie, my life in France, raising a baby, has become a pivotal turning point in my art career. As my breakout collection as a painter, created while on medical leave for postpartum depression, just before leaving my teaching job, each piece delicately represents the tiny moments, not milestones, that often go unnoticed but are actually the beautiful foundation of daily life in the early years of motherhood.
